GREEN PASS (BY VACCINATION OR HEALING): COVID-19 EMERGENCY information

relating to the visit of the Grotta Gigante and its Speleological Scientific Museum, located in Borgo Grotta Gigante 42 / a – Sgonico (TS)

IMPORTANT

Starting from January 10, 2022, until different provisions, all visitors will be able to access the cave Grotta Gigante and the Visitor Center – Speleological Scientific Museum only if they have the Covid19 certification:

• Certifications proving the status of vaccination against SARS-CoV-2;
• Certificates of recovery from SARS-CoV-2 infection;

Entry to the tourist facility without certification is only allowed for children up to 12 years of age.

⚠️ WARNING

The above documentation must be shown to the staff of the Grotta Gigante, which is also authorized to check the correspondence of personal details and to ask for a valid identification document to be exhibited.

⚠️ In the absence of the appropriate certification indicated above, it will not be possible to access the tourist routes (Cave and Museum) and there won’t be any kind of refund of the Tickets purchased online.

General rules and conditions for access to the Grotta Gigante, the related scientific speleological museum and the environments of the visitor center in general:

• access is prohibited in the presence of temperatures above 37.5 degrees and with flu-like symptoms such as chills, cough, breathing difficulties, muscle aches, fatigue, headache, sore throat and loss of taste or smell, even if they occurred in the 14 days prior to the visit;
• not be subjected to a quarantine regime or have come into contact with people who tested positive for COVID_19 in the last 14 days;
• wear a FFP2 mask, inside the Cave and in the Museum, in the queues at the ticket office and in the waiting room;
• keep a safety distance of at least one meter from non-cohabiting people and at least two meters during the ascent section of the Cave (as indicated by the signs);
• sanitize your hands before entering the Cave and in the special stations arranged along the tourist route;
• follow the indications of the signs.
