For safety reasons, during the visit we recommend to use back or front carriers for babies.
At our facilities the toilets are provided with changing tables.
ACCESSIBILITY FOR DISABLED PEOPLE
The cave is not accessible for people with motor disabilities, since the tourist path is constituted of 500 steps to go down and 500 steps to come up.
In our Visitor Centre is available a free ”Virtual Tour”, which allows disabled people to have a 360-degree visit of the cave from the outside.
There is a nearly constant temperature of 11°C degrees during all the year.
To make sure you are not cold, we recommend you to wear a jacket and comfortable shoes, as there are many steps.
It is allowed to take photos, also with the flash, using hand-held equipment.
However, for safety reasons, it is forbidden to take pictures walking down the stairs (risk of slipping).
Tripods and monopods are not permitted in any part of the cave.
Small dogs are allowed but only if kept in a pet carrier or a bag.
Under no circumstances can the dogs walk in the cave, due to hygiene and safety reasons.
The cave is open also in case of bad weather.
However in case of heavy snowfall we recommend you to contact us.
Our facilities offer a large free parking lot (unwatched).
It is allowed for camper vans to stay overnight, even though the area is not specifically equipped for them.
The reservation is required just for groups of more than 15 people, for schools and summer camp groups.
