It’s time to wear harness and helmet: let’s descend into the depths of the earth!

Through a narrow system of vertical wells and short horizontal tunnels you can reach a a depth of 252 meters from the surface. This is “Ramo Coloni”, a hidden branch discovered in 2005 and closed to the general public.

This branch, also known as Secret Cave, is equipped with a iron way (via ferrata) that leads you down for 160 meters until reaching groundwater. The more experienced can book this thrilling experience: you are accompanied by a professional Friuli-Venezia Giulia cave guide in a 4 hour adventure to the core of the earth!

It is recommended to wear suitable apparel, given the nature of the experience (trekking shoes, suit and gloves).

Basic climbing techniques are required.
